To identify how future city life around the world may have the potential to improve respiratory health; to focus on beneficial, rather than adverse, outcomes, and how we can put our knowledge of risk factors to use and change harms to benefits for an improved respiratory future; to describe such potential in lifestyle factors and environmental exposures, from pre-puberty exposure windows for opportunities to indoor and outdoor environmental exposures, in a global context.
